Facilitating employee aspirations

The performance review process assists employees to identify areas where they need to develop skills, and will also give employees the opportunity to discuss their performances with their line managers and receive feedback and direction for the future.

Line management

Line managers are responsible for:

  • Setting, communicating and measuring performance against deliverables
  • Setting, communicating and measuring goals to improve or correct behaviour
  • Assessing and developing career potential
  • The content of the performance contract for all employees reporting to them

Bi-annual reviews

Formal performance reviews are conducted bi-annually. They are made up of an interim evaluation near the middle of the performance cycle, and a performance review at the end of the performance cycle.
